Global Design Project #GDP122-a sketch challenge!

I am taking part in the Global Design Project’s Sketch challenge this week!  This is the first time I’ve pulled out the True Gentleman paper and coordinating stamp set (Truly Tailored) but I hope they keep this set around.  The stamp set, plus the coordinating punch, are perfect for guy cards…and we sure do need more of those on hand!  You can click on the image below to be taken to the challenge to see all of the marvelous entries!

I took inspiration off several card ideas from Pinterest.  I changed the backgrounds, added some of these cute buttons, and made this:

Stampin Up Truly Tailored. Stampin Up True Gentleman. Stampin Up man card. Cards for men. Stampin Up Night of Navy. Guy card. Stampin Up guy card.

I used several layers and the Big Shot to make this card.  All of the materials used are at the bottom of the post, in clickable format.  Just select the product you need and it will take you right to it to purchase!  I’d love to be your demonstrator if you need one.  To go directly to my shop, CLICK HERE!

Cutting directions:
-Whisper White base, 5 x 1/2″ by 8 x 1/2″ score at 4 x 1/2″
-Night of Navy layer, 5 x 1/4″ by 4″
-Whisper White layer, 5″ by 3 x 3/4″
-Crumb Cake strip, 1 x 1/2″ by 3 x 3/4″
-True Gentleman paper strip, 1 x 1/4″ by 3 x 1/2″ plus extra to make the background label (from the same sheet!  Love coordination!)

I also used the Simple Stripes Textured Embossing folder.  To get the slanted stripes, just put your paper in the folder at an angle and run through your Big Shot!
