You are here Home / Easy cards with Birthday Memories paper!
Good morning! I’ve been crafting up a storm here, getting ready for my Santa’s (e)mailbox holiday project series! Make sure you are signed up for my email list to receive all of the projects-its an email only series, so sign up HERE!
I wanted to share with you some of the cards that I made for sending out to my catalog subscribers. I generally have about 150 cards to send out (I do it twice a year, just to let people know about specials like our Buy 3, Get 1 FREE paper sale!) so I need an easy template for my cards. I’ve found that cutting up a 12×12 paper stack into 5 x 1/4″ by 4″ pieces results in a good variety of cards. You can then cut those pieces down to make different options like this:
To make this even easier: Cut your Birthday Memories paper into 3, 4″ strips. Then, turn onto the long side and cut 5 x 1/4″ so you end up with 2 pieces that are 5 x 1/4″ by 4″, and a strip left over. That strip is the middle of the yellow card in the picture. All of our paper coordinated in the stack, so you can mix and match easily.
Close ups of all three cards:
I die cut some circles using the Layering Circles Dies, and then stamped in coordinating colors with the Stylized Birthday stamp (which is quickly becoming a favorite of mine!). So simple! You could step up the cards using more layers or embellishments, but I like the simplicity. I think I will get more of this paper to make a whole bunch of them to have on hand!
The supply list is below and the pictures are linked to my shop. I’ve rolled out a Loyalty Program punch card so that my valued customers can earn a FREE stamp set! Feel free to print out the card! Thanks for stopping by! Help spread the birthday love by pinning the cards to your Pinterest boards!
Have an inky day!
