Global Stamping Friends Blog Hop-Holidays in July, with a twist!

Hello friends!  I’m taking part in the Global Stamping Friends blog hop this month!  This month is Holidays in July, with a twist!  We were tasked to make a holiday card, without using ANY holiday stamp or die themed set!  What a creative way to showcase some of our regular stamp sets by using them in creative ways!  I chose to use the No Bones About It stamp set, featuring some of the scariest dinos around!  They don’t look so terrifying wrapped in lights, now, do they??

Stampin Up No bones about it. Blog hop. Stampin Up dino cards. Stampin up holiday. Christmas cards. Alternative Christmas cards

To make, stamp those dinosaurs in Emerald Envy and a stamped off Dapper Denim.  Using a black marker, draw the light strand, then take Real Red and Pumpkin Pie Stampin’ Markers to draw the lights.  I added a hat onto the bronto, and gave the T-Rex an ornament to hold.  I used the Labeler Alphabet stamp set for the letters.  I stamped some dots around the dinos as it looked a bit plain without them.  RAW!

Thanks for stopping by!  Make sure you check out all of the wonderful creations in the blog hop!   Click on the arrow below to be taken to Courtenay Heuston’s blog and her wonderful submission!
