All Things Thanks-Voting starts March 15 AEDT time!

Thanks for coming to my blog today! We are being highlighted internationally by Kylie Bertucci and you are able to VOTE for my project. The top ten winners will get to be part of an international blog hop so please vote for my project. You can do that here –
Our theme for this highlight is using the stamp set All Things Thanks! This is a Wonderful stamp set with so many gorgeous sentiments. We wanted to highlight how versatile it really is.

Here is my card:

Here’s what I did to make the inked part:  grab 3 ink pads (I used Melon Mambo, Pumpkin Pie and Daffodil Delight) and a couple of sheets of paper (or something that can be cleaned between colors) and a piece of Whisper White cardstock 5 x 1/4″ by 2 x 3/4″.  Take the darkest color (Melon Mambo) and tap the pad down onto the paper.  Don’t smush it hard, or you’ll get too much ink on it.  I twisted the pad a few times to make the lines.  After you are done with this color, wait for it to dry, then use a different piece of paper or wipe down whatever you used.  This is REALLY important, or else if you try and use the next pad, your Melon Mambo might stain the next one!  Repeat with the other colors, making sure you use fresh paper each time.  I’ll call this the smush pad technique.  🙂

The rest is easy.  A strip of Basic Black on the edges, a dragonfly, some thick black twine and the Thank You from the All Things Thanks stamp set!

I did this with Emerald Envy, Daffodil Delight and Tempting Turquoise and it looks pretty cool as well.  Endless color combinations for this!

Thanks for visiting my blog today make sure you head over to Kylie’s blog – to vote for my project. I would love to be chosen to do an international blog hop.
