You are here Home / THE easiest gift tags, ever!
If there was ever a way to show that a gift comes from the heart, its with a handmade gift tag! Gift tags are generally pretty easy and simple to make, but they certainly dress up your package! I chose to use one of the Stampin’ Up! projects for my gift tags (did you know that Stampin’ Up! has a whole page dedicated to sharing some simple projects from our newest catalogs?? Check it out here!) but made it for the upcoming Halloween Season.
Start off by making 3×3 inch squares out of the Halloween Night DSP. I love the Designer Paper stacks because you get so much paper for your money! Not only that, but its versatile-you do get some traditional Halloween pumpkins and bats, but some are just dots or cross hatches, so you can use this for fall birthdays!
Using Whisper White cardstock and a 2 inch circle punch, punch out the white circles.
I used Basic Grey ink to stamp the bats/sentiments. The stamp sets are from the Spooky Fun Photopolymer bundle and this month’s Paper Pumpkin kit!
I sponged daubed some Pumpkin Pie ink around the circle edges for a more rustic look. Pop those circles out with stampin’ dimensionals rather than just gluing them down.
Use a 4 inch piece of Basic Black twine for the loop.
That’s it! Easy come, easy go! Perfect for bags, boxes, big candy bars, and much more. I’m eager to use all of my Christmas DSP with this design as well!
The best thing about this project is that you can customize it for whatever reason or season that you need! This would be a cute idea for our other pretty papers that we carry, like the Candy Cane Lane DSP! Here’s my store to shop at! Be sure to check out the clearance rack for special deals and prices.
