You are here Home / Triple Time Stamping with Swirly Bird!
I had a few ladies coming to my coffee and stamp class the other day, and I wanted to do something that I could prep ahead of time. I had never done Triple Time Stamping before, but it sounded like what I needed!
Basically, Triple Time stamping is stamping on 3 layers that are on top of one another, biggest to smallest. Then you mount the layers onto slightly bigger cardstock so they create a sort of “off” pattern that is still very pretty!
Here’s the card, using the swirly flower and leaf from the Swirly Bird stamp set. I used Sweet Sugarplum, So Saffron, and Pear Pizazz inks.
I used the directions on Brian King’s fabulous website Triple Time Stamping Tutorial. The cutting sizes are as follows:
This is a great tutorial to learn! You can do so much with it! I made another card with the Flourishing Phrases flower and leaf in Flirty Flamingo and Emerald Envy. I stamped off the flower after inking to do the lighter colored flowers! I love this combo of colors. The ruched ribbon is fantastic as well!
