You are here Home / Swirly Scribbles birthday card
I was asked to create a 50th birthday card for a guy, so I decided to pull out my brand new Swirly Scribbles thinlits dies and play around! Here is the card I came up with:
I love those Swirly Scribbles! I used up every little piece that came off the Big Shot to create this (except for the bigger green circle). What you’ll need:
-Tip Top Taupe card base
-Whisper White first layer 5 x 1/4″ by 4″
-Tip Top Taupe second layer 5″ by 3 x 3/4″
-Dapper Denim and Emerald Envy cardstock
-Silver Glimmer paper
-Swirly Scribbles Thinlits dies
-Large Number Framelits Dies
-Thoughtful Banners Bundle
-Dapper Denim ink
Use the Swirly Scribbles dies to cut out your swirls. The “extra” pieces that come off the swirls are great to use as added embellishments-that’s what I did here. The Dapper Denim circle under the numbers is from the biggest swirl! Use the Silver Glimmer paper to do the numbers! I stamped “celebrate” from the Thoughtful Banners Photopolymer Stamp set in Dapper Denim ink, and punched it with the coordinating banner punch. I love how Stampin’ Up! makes it so easy to coordinate everything!
This is a perfect card for a guy, but could be made in softer colors for a lady!
