Stamp Ink Paper Challenge: Love

Valentine’s Day is almost here, so what better way to show the love than to use the Stamp Ink Paper Challenge of LOVE!

SIP challenge 34Stamps Ink Paper Challenge Love

I started off with Rose Red as my card base, then used Whisper White as the card layer (5-1/4″ by 4″).  I took a piece of English Garden Designer Series paper to use as the background paper-cut that 2-1/2″ by 4″).  Isn’t that a pretty paper?  I then used the retired Stacked with Love for the longer vertical piece (4-1/2″ by 1-1/2″), followed by a piece of Whisper White that I sponged daubed with Tip Top Taupe around the edges (4″ by 2-1/2″).

For the hearts, I took the Work of Art stamp set’s heart and Rose Red ink.  Stamp and cut out 3 hearts and stagger on the sponged piece.  Add some pearls, a love sentiment on the inside, and you’ve got a simple, pretty card!  This card was a beast to photograph.  The white looks cream and the red looks odd-trust me, this is a very pretty card in person!

The supply list is below!  If you would like to order supplies to make this card, use this link!  If you use host code S7T9PKYE at checkout you’ll get some fun mail from me.
